About Zach Prez

Hi, I’m Zach Prez, author of Photographer’s SEO Book. I’ve helped hundreds of photographers optimize websites for Google, including consulting gigs with major photographers and photography website companies.

For 10 years I’ve enjoyed helping small businesses rank in search engines, while working full time on major SEO projects for large corporations as a full-time job. Since coding my first website in 1997, I picked up an MBA and quickly transitioned to my passion of marketing a few years ago.

My SEO has focused on photographer websites almost exclusively over the past year after helping a good friend start up a photographer business and quickly rank #1 in Google for several child and family photographer terms for her major city. The more tips I gave her, the more she wanted to know, and the more her photographer friends wanted to know her (my) secrets. There was an obvious need to centralize and share all of this information, so I documented my whole process on my blogs and ebooks to teaching photographers how to optimize their own.

The Photographer’s SEO Book released in early 2009 and Blog SEO Zen for photographers and vendors in 2010. I like most about the books that pretty much any photographer can understand it, and apply the methods to any type of website and quickly see results.
